 Every business has a beginning, and for OKC Fabric Market, it started with a family planting new roots. In 2019, Dragos and Klara, along with their children, made Oklahoma their home. With them, they carried a love for creativity, craftsmanship, and fabrics that tell stories of cultures from around the world. Out of this passion, OKC Fabric Market was born—a place where global textiles meet local community.

When the world changed in 2020, their mission became even more meaningful. As the COVID-19 pandemic spread, the need for mask-making supplies surged. The Fabric Market quickly became a trusted source of fabrics, and in a spirit of giving, Dragos and Klara donated thousands of yards to neighbors, volunteers, and organizations determined to protect their communities. Those moments solidified OKC Fabric Market as not just a business, but a partner to the people it serves.

Never afraid to take bold steps, in 2021 Dragos expanded the vision by bringing in-house fabric printing to Oklahoma City. This new chapter gave makers and dreamers the ability to turn imagination into reality—whether that meant a one-of-a-kind garment, a piece of home décor, or a custom project as unique as the person creating it.
